Convert Wells Fargo Statements to Excel
Wells Fargo-style statements keep the transaction table lean: Date, Description and Amount, with no running-balance column printed beside each row. That makes the reconciliation check matter more, not less — the converter rebuilds the running balance from the printed beginning balance and compares its computed ending balance with the printed one before you download.

The first 10 pages are free with no sign-up, and your file is deleted within 1 hour.
How a Wells Fargo-style statement is laid out
Our test files model the common Wells Fargo-style layout: three columns — Date, Description and Amount — with no running-balance column in the table itself. Each amount is signed (money in positive, money out negative).
The beginning and ending balances are printed outside the table. The converter uses the printed beginning balance to rebuild the running balance for every row, then reconciles the computed ending balance against the printed ending balance, to the cent.
Digital PDFs are read from the text layer; printed-and-scanned copies go through on-device OCR, so check the red-highlighted cells in the preview.
Tested on 5 synthetic Wells Fargo-style statements (3 digital, 2 scanned; 57 transactions): every cell extracted correctly and all 5 reconciled exactly. These are synthetic test files modeled on the common structure, not copies of real Wells Fargo statements — real files vary, so always check the preview and the reconciliation line.

How it works
- 1
Upload
Drop your PDF into the converter — digital tables directly, scanned pages via on-device OCR.
- 2
Preview
Check the extracted table first. Low-confidence cells are highlighted red, and balances are reconciled up front.
- 3
Download
Confirm, then get a clean .xlsx (Transactions + Summary sheets) or .csv — amounts are numbers, dates are real dates.
Frequently asked questions
My statement has no balance column — do I still get one in Excel?
Yes. The Excel file has a Balance column recomputed from the statement's printed beginning balance, so every row shows the running balance even though the PDF table doesn't print one.
How do I get my Wells Fargo statement as a PDF?
Download it from Wells Fargo Online or the mobile app as a PDF statement, then upload it here. The converter reads the table structure, not a bank-specific template.
Does it work on scanned statements?
Yes. Image-only PDFs are read with on-device OCR. Scanned pages are usually less accurate than digital ones — the preview highlights low-confidence cells in red.
What if the balances don't reconcile?
The preview shows the exact difference. A mismatch usually means a row was misread — check the red-highlighted low-confidence cells first, or re-scan the page straighter and try again.
Do you store my statement?
No. Files are deleted automatically within 1 hour, the upload folder is excluded from all backups, and nobody reviews your files.
