Short version: Shot captures public web pages as images for you. The free probe has daily limits. Paid packs are not on sale yet.
What Shot does. You send a public http/https URL; Shot returns a PNG, JPEG or WebP screenshot (full page or a CSS selector). Private IPs, localhost and cloud metadata endpoints are blocked.
Free probe quota. During the probe: 20 renders per day per API key, 5 requests per minute per key, and 50 renders per day per IP. Cached repeats within 1 hour do not consume the daily render quota.
Paid packs. One-time packs (no subscriptions) are planned but not on sale yet. Joining the waitlist does not create a charge.
No guarantees. Capture quality depends on the target site (bot walls, heavy JS, geo blocks). We do not guarantee that every URL will render, or that the image matches a specific browser.
Fair use. Do not use Shot to attack sites, scrape behind logins you do not own, evade rate limits, or capture illegal content. We may revoke keys that abuse the service.
Your responsibility. You must have the right to request screenshots of the URLs you submit. Shot is provided as-is during the probe.
